I been meaning to post this but it is just so hard he was only 8yrs old! We found out one wensday that he had a double ear infection and a bad heart murmur. He had been to see another vet a couple of months before he said he had a heart murmur but that was it he didnt do anything about it he went ahead and but him under to clean his teeth.Didnt say anything about his ears or anything!!! So we took him to a vet the we took a cat to years ago that had the same heart problem and he told us it was a pretty bad one but he thought with meds he would be ok.Rascal had a bad head tilt he said it was prob. his ears so we where happy he was going to be ok.But that next Sunday he ate and all like normal nothing happened while he was eating.but after he was panting tongue was purple couldnt walk good.We knew something was wrong but couldnt do anything till the next day.I got him calmed down and so we put them to bed.The next morning he was facing the back of his bed i had to call him about 3 times before he heard me.He got to the front of the cage his bed and fell I called my momma in there and she got him to come out he wasnt walking very good.So we called the vet and made an appointment for 2 that afternoon I but him in a bigger cage so he could be my himself and i could watch him.By 2 the after noon he was barly responding. So Me and my dad took hime to the vet he just about died with me holding him on the way down but I HOLLERED DONT U DIE ON ME RAZZY JUST HOLD ON!! .he lived till we got to the vet and he looked at him and he said he had had more than one stroke over the night. He couldnt stand his heart was barely going so they gave him the shot he was gone before we laid him back on the table. It has been hard he was our little floppy eared eyore. He also had drainage from his ears the vet said he might have had a brain tumor that killed him it was that or his heart. We miss him dearly. He slept in the same bed with Radar and it has took him time to get over him being gone too.

I am so sorry to hear you have lost little Rascal :(
It is so heartbreaking to hear what you had to go through
I can only imagine how awful it is to lose a dog, they are real members of our families, and it sounds like your experience was particularly hard given that the vet didn't pick up on it earlier.
It must be painful to know your other dog is hurting, too. My heart is with you. Take good care and may Rascal rest in peace in doggie heaven

Awww.... I am truly, very sorry for your loss. I know from experience how heartbreaking it is to lose a furry friend. Try to focus on all of the good moments you & Rascal had together. I believe your wonderful little guy is running & playing with all the other Chi babies (& my little Tikki) in doggie Heaven.
