To be honest, I think the prices being charged are putting chihuahua ownership out of the reach of many good homes.

Many of the costs Smallbutmighty quoted are items which could be reused again and surely would not be charged for each pup, caesareans are not always necessary either. £120 seems an awful lot of money for feed for a 0-12 week pup, maybe you made a mistake on that.

I honestly think that some of the prices quoted for pups is extortionate - if you are buying a show pup that is one thing, because they are rare enough, a pup who conforms to breed standard in every way.

But for most pet pups it should be a fair price and what that is I am not sure, but to overprice pups and make that seem the norm does seem unfair.
