Also, don't forget that some dogs are not food motivated. I used to bait Piper with a toy. She liked the rabbit fur covered mice you can get at dog shows. She'd go nuts for one.  It also kept her happy and interested. She only got to play with it when we were at a show. |
Lucky for me the boy is lead around by his stomach LOL. He isn't to keen on toys, would rather pummel his siblings. He adores ground turkey (cooked) as bait but unless I bring a burner and pan to every show there's no guarantee I can make it...I can just see myself camping out in my hotel room with a gas burner and setting off fire alarms...errr...
