I am new to this site. I am 18 years old and am getting my first Chihuahua in 8 weeks from Thursday. I'm very excited about it. She will be 10 weeks old when I get her and is brindle and white. She is absolutely gorgeous. I plan to name her "Lua". I already love her to pieces! I don't like it when people assume that I don't know anything about dogs or the breed just because of my age! I am actually surprisingly educated about all things dogs. I have read countless books and actually (I know it sounds crazy) have written notes in a notebook about Chihuahuas specifically. They have always been my favorite breed. When I was in fifth grade, I was obsessed with the "Teacup" Chihuahuas and would not shut up about them. Now I am much more educated and know everything about BYBs and their advertising schemes.

Anyway, I just thought that I would say hello to start out and hope that I can learn even more here!
