Yep...that's part of why we switched to a combo of THK, raw meaty bones and Nature's Variety medallions. NV has had some recalls, but that was before they changed to their new method of processing. It all makes me so nervous. We are trying to do as much "raw food" as we can that is stuff we buy at the grocery store. With hubby and I both working full time though, for now I have to rely somewhat on "what's out there". If we ever switch back to a kibble, it will be Fromm. Fromm is one company I really do trust. B can't eat kibble anyway (just no matter what kind gives him the runs), so we probably won't be switching back any time soon.
