Default Run as fast as you can...

many, many warning signs here. here are a few:
they think the AKC standard is 6-7 lbs! no, the standard is not over 6 lbs.
they charge based on the size of the puppy.
no pedigrees are listed.
not all dogs are even AKC.
the health guarantee is very vague and they don't even take back a sick dog. you keep it
and they help with a "fair" amount of the costs of genetic defects.

looks like a high volume breeder. the dogs are not that impressive and wow are they over priced!
here is a link to the Chihuahua Club of America and a list of reputable breeders: http://www.chihuahuaclubofamerica.co...irectory1.html

good luck with your search. keep posting here and people will guide you in the right direction
that can save you a lot of heartache and expense later on...

I am also told that a good breeder never advertises Tea Cup puppies yet this breeder mentions tea cup on the intro page... I am new to having a chi and now looking to buy a show dog and this breeder shouts "Beware to me"

Their dogs aren't too terribly bad looking (for the most part) however, when I googled the breeder title the very first word in their "advertisment" part on google was "teacup". HUGE turn off for me. Not to mention their prices. No way would I pay that for one of their dogs. I think you could find a much better quality dog for less money. JMO....

I think in my opinion you shoudlnt judge someones dogs because of a pictures i.e. Fifi is ugly in her photos but is gorgeous and has the best temprent when you meet her. They seem a bit over priced and yes the "Teacup" term was permanently used throughout the website especially on the puppy pages. Not to mention that there are puppy pages not a page lol but hey if you want to pay that money for a puppy then its your choice i wouldnt personally but good luck with it!

Thank you every one for your advice. I am going to continue my search for my chi pup and not go with this breeder. There is just to many red flags and I haven't been able to talk to any one that knows DJ 's Chihuahuas first hand to give me a good reference for them.

Thanks all!
Erica
