Thumbs up for those interested on a discount :)

sorry this goes to the U.S people only as someone already posted up the link for the UK site for the puppia products. as you guys know dexter got a new harness from puppia, the luxary edition. i have spoken to the owner of the store which is http://www.happyrover.com

her name is leslie or the other person robin and she said she will gladly "discount off $1 a harness, etc" from your order if u buy from the site instead of ebay, as ebay charges fees. since her shipping is free to the U.S i thought u guys would be interested...i dont know sometimes $1 off makes a difference? LOL... just remember to e-mail her before you purchase the product so she can send you a invoice with the discounted price amount. remember to mention that pigeonsheep sent you so the discount applies,

p.s: i cant seem to find the luxury one from her site but maybe if you guys e-mail her she will be able to send it since it is in her ebay store.

Can anyone explain what makes the Puppia harnesses any better than the ones that look exactly the same/ same fit style from like Petco or Petsmart for less than $10? Is it just like a "brand name" thing?? I always wondered what the big deal was; not that they aren't cute and practical but they don't look any more special than a lot of the cheaper ones that are still great quality...just wonderin' lol

hehe it's not just the brand name. like i put on my picture post of the new one i got for dexter, the velcro is bigger and stronger so it fits the dog more. also puppia has loads of diff designs and styles versus the petco ones, i for one have never seen a good one at petsmart

Here in the UK there really isn't a big range of harnesses that fit a chihuahua. The closest I found were "puppidog" - puppia knock-offs, and had detatchable middle peices that get lost, the other kind like the Rogz ones bunch up and break my chi's smooth coat hairs over time. My chi is scared of having the tight overhead part of Rogz style harnesses pulled over where his molera is. There aren't many harnesses that are good chis: having a very thin neck where the hanress has to sit, but have big round, wide skulls, and the harness are hard to adjust while they are waering them. I would buy a cheaper harness If i could find a decent one, but I really can't find anything else decent in petshops or internet here.
