Jan, it actually works better for a bigger chi. That's why I'm selling it. My guys get lost in it even with padding it with blankets. Too much left over space, and they can't even really see over it. I think it would probably work great for Chico.

Pic for the inquiry on if two can fit. It has 2 harness clips. One on each side. Also a latch in middle. This is Lexie and Chance both in it, and that's with blankets stuffed all in the bottom. Lexie wouldn't sit down, she wanted to stand up in it, and used Chance's head as a step stool. So yes, two can easily fit, 3 even.
