omg HORRIBLE news!
http://www.usfreeads.com/307685-cls.html
She's selling Pomchis, But SHE DOCKED THEIR TAILS!!
I asked her why, and this is what she said:
" st of all, if you have a problem with docking tails of canine, take your issue up with all breeders who dock tails. Secondly, there is NOTHING barbaric, disgusting about it. You sound like a very ignorant person. Take your issue up with AKC since they require the tail to be docked on Miniature Pinschers; Miniature Schnauzers; Doberman Pinschers; German Shorthaired Pointers and many other breeds.
The tail was docked for appearance and YES, my friend, she is MORE than cute. By all means, please report ME to authorities. Your vey stupid and you would be laughed at completely for reporting someone for something as simple as docking a tail which is completely pain free and done when the dog is a very young puppy with no bleeding whatsoever, involved. BY ALL MEANS PLEASE DO REPORT ME FOR ANIMAL CRUELTY AND BE LAUGHED AT AS SOMEONE WHO IS COMPLETELY IGNORANT WHEN IT COMES TO DOGS. If you have an issue, by all means, call me at 704-278-3647. I'll even be happy to meet you in person since you are so retarded it isn't even funny."
She's clearly a hateful person who enjoys causing pain!

OK, Um, I'm not understanding why she docked the tail of a pom/chi. They aren't even recognized by AKC because they're a mixed breed..right? And I know for a fact that the AKC does not require you to dock the tails of chi's or poms. Sooo..I think she is probably the retarded one. Further more, that dog does not look like an apple head lol. She has the same head shape as my Boss Hogg and he is CERTAINLY not an apple head lol.
ETA: I e-mailed her to ask her about the docking too..hehe.

I think I would email her back and tell her how she shouldnt even be breeding if she doesnt realize that neither breed that she is mixing requires a docked tail to be the standard and certainly not a mixed breed. If there is no purpose to the docking of the tail as for show or as for a breed characteristic then that would be considered mutiliation for no apparent reason.

I have heard stories where people with certain breeds have had issues with their dogs and their tails but for the better half I think Most people do not have issues with the tail, sure a docked tail may be cute, but I think its rude to cut off any animals body part without a good reason.
The reasons we use to dock them for do not apply since we don't use dogs for work like we use to. I think its cruel, I know that some breeds do it for the showing but I can accept that, I know its for cosmetic use now but in some cases its part of what the breed was breed for. Now as a pet I think its unnecessary. I don't like the idea of having it docked or cropped ears even if it does look cute or the dog doesn't feel it. I think its silly humans have obsession to control the look of their dogs. I understand some breed their tails do get hurt if they keep them but most breeds don't have any issue of breaking their tail, and as long as you are considerate and don't be rough with it then it probably won't have a problem. So I think she may be entitled to her opinion, I know if done properly it shouldn't be painful, but I personally can't say I've been there and know so. So I rather be on the safe side and not harm the dog in unnecessarily.

What a wacko....I could understand docking if akc accepts this, but why on earth do this to a pup that is not recognized by akc .What is she going to get out of these whether she docked or didn't dock??? HELLO!!!!! Sounds to me like she isn't the sharpest pencil in the drawer!!!! And apple head!!! Ummm, I don't know what kind of apples she's been eatin' but they must be tainted with too much pesticide!!!
