He's still having seizures, he had two last night and 6 so far this morning. I talked to the vet, he does has a slight elevation of his liver enzymes, so I will be switching his food to a low protein food. That may be causing the seizures rather than distemper. There is no definitive test for distemper so it's hard to know. I am leaving right now to go pick up his anti-seizure medicine, hopefully it kicks in soon. My poor baby.

Thank you people. I am so exhausted, two nights up watching him. Took a nap with him this morning, we got a little rest, but he must have had a seizure while I was sleeping because he eliminated on my bed. He has had his first dose of meds and it's making him sleepy. He is trying to hide today, I couldn't find him and totally panicked, then found him outside by the screen behind the gas grill. He's now in the pen where I can keep an eye on him, hiding in the cat bed. The pills they gave me are the size of the head of a pin, I swear, and I am supposed to give him a 1/4 each time. Yeah, fun. Trying to divide it reduces it to chunks. I just try to divide the chunks into equal amounts.

So sorry about little Smoke! Hopefully it's something that either is controlled by the new medicine or *passes all together*! The pups and I will be thinkin' of him and hoping you two are still having happy times, too!
