Default Ear Wax?

Daisy has always had wax in her ears, we try to get it out but she won't let us get near her with a cotton bud, or the ear wipes we bought from pets at home.

The only way I can ever get any out is by gently rubbing around the opening of her ear with my finger (of course, I don't push my finger into her ear).

I was buying pee pads on ebay, and the seller also sells these;

Otodex Ear Drops for Dogs & Cats | eBay

Has anyone used these? Do they work?

Thanks

I had a miniature schnauzer that had a problem with wax in his ears, and without getting his ears plucked he would get infection. We used the ear drops from the vet, that you just drop in and rub their ear. It worked pretty good, but i've never had experience with it and a chihuahua. I saw some waxy stuff in our chihuahua's ear and the vet had a look, but recommended not touching it because it was a natural amount that's normal? Who knows.

Brown, yellow or blackish-red wax can all indicate yeast infections in
the ear. You may want to make sure she does not have a yeast
infection.
