I sure I'm not the only one with this problem, but Thor is a true cuddle monster and yoga pants are the comfiest thing to wear at home, the problem is trying to get his tan fur off the pants after! The fur seems to magically weave into the black pants and even after using a sticky roller and washing doesn't always come out. Does anyone have any tips on how to get rid of it? Pulling out all the little hairs is so time consuming.

LOL, you're too funny.

My pups practically don't shed, so although I practically LIVE in yoga pants I do
not have your very unfortunate problem, lol. But if I did I would probably try to
address the shedding as opposed to the hair removal. What do you feed? I find
quality nutrition reduces shedding tremendously in short coat Chis. Also how
often do you brush him? Bathe him? Frequent brushing is great and promotes
healthy skin & hair, but frequent bathing will strip his skin of natural oil and
therefore dry it out and he'll shed more.

He gets a bath once a month and brushed semi regularly I suppose. The problem probably lies in that his brush isn't that great- any recommendations on that front too? As for nutrition, he's on a LID diet by natures variety, he has allergies and I thought this food was good but recently think ill have to try him on another type - but that's a whole other issue. In the mean time my Lulus are looking pretty bad.

I'm always excited to meet Lulu fans, lol, I think they are the absolute best!

As for a good brush, I like to use the flea comb on short coats, it really does
a great job imo, takes longer, but it works up close and personal and does a
fabulous job spreading those natural oils! You can find flea combs in your local
pet shops.

You're Canadian too so you understand the 'obsession' with lulu other pants just pale in comparison! They also make great running/tennis skirts- that I'm in love with too.


He seems to be allergic to everything! I've tried Innova puppy (which he was on when I got him), a raw diet - which as a veggie I just can't handle doing, Fromm game bird - made him throw up, Acana Pascifica (as per your suggestion)- itchy, sneezy, diarrhea and now
Natures variety instinct lamb - which he's been on for a few months but he's pooping too much IMO and he's started itching again and covering his head actin like he has a headache if that makes any sense? So now I'm on the hunt for the food with the fewest ingredients ... Trying to find ziwipeak in my new area... I hear a lot of people have success with it.

And I'll try the flea comb!!

I use a slicker brush for my lc chis.. It really gets all of the extra hairs out. I wonder if something similar would work for short coats. I know how you feel though.. I have a black peacoat that I wear often and my scrub pants for work are black, so I am constantly lint rolling!

I have a bad memory so sorry if I asked, but did you do any tests at the vet's?
Like a full blood panel for example? What does your vet make of all this?
Perhaps it's not even food allergies, but something else.

Ziwipeak is definitely an excellent choice, I hope you have better luck with that.

I feel for you, must be very frustrating.
