I wanted a Black and Tan smooth coat boy so badly but was told when I go to look at a litter colour wont matter, and well that was right as I am picking up my little chocolate brown and cream boy on saterday I want to thank everyone for all the amazing advice, I wouldn't of looked for half of the things while looking that I did otherwise! Mum dog was really really friendly and licking my hand, just loveley! I'm so excited I'm worried something will go wrong so I'm trying not to get too excited haha

I do have one more question though I would like to get him vet checked when I get him, I pick him up saterday, how long should I leave it till I take him?

His eyes/nose/ears where clear but i thought it would be wise to get a second look lol

I took my girl in to the vet the day after I got her and she was just shy of 10 weeks.

Congratulations! The next time he'll need to visit the vet will be for his next set of puppy shots. I assume he'll already have had his first set by time you pick him up. Usually they receive puppy shots at 8 weeks, 12 weeks, and 16 weeks, but it depends on the country you live in. In Sweden we just do 8 weeks and 12 weeks. If you just want to take him to the vet prior to his next shots, that's up to you. The breeder should have done a recent check up before letting him go.

He will be just over eight weeks, I know that's young but I was told as long as he is weaned it shouldn't matter? I am yet to see any advertised as ready at 13 weeks, well I saw one that had been online for ages and then as it wasn't selling they added he was 13 weeks because they only sell them at 13 weeks!

And as for vets I couldn't say a date but she said he will be first vac, wormed etc and I will be asking for documents

If you're in the UK they get their vaccination at 8 weeks and 10 weeks usually. Will he be coming with his first vaccination? If you want a refund if he is not healthy then there's usually a 48 hour period but you'll have to check this with your breeder. I'd leave him to settle in for a day or two before you take him to the vets otherwise because it can be a bit stressful on top of the stress of moving home. If he hasn't had his vaccination my vet told me to wait at least 48 hours before bringing Mylo in as the vaccine can cause an upset tummy as can moving home so to let him settle first. I'd love to see pics too. I love chocolate ones.
