Default Changing color

When do chis stop changing color or do they? I noticed today that Jaxx is losing more of his sable coloring and it is turning a really light tan. It is probably turning into the lightest tan coloring on him where it used to be dark brown/black.

I know that the colors of their coat can change I just figured that since Jaxx was over a year old his color was there to stay.

He is beautiful no matter what but I was just wondering if it would always change or if there was a point it would stop.

My little one, Bonnie, at 8 months is turning champaign color on her front legs. The coloring is up to her elbows. She is mostly white. Hind legs turning too. The breeder did tell me that she may turn champaign color. I doubt she will be all that color though. Whatever color, fine with me.

I am not sure really. Kalisee was all white in May and now she is getting alot of cream color on her back, ears and face. Her skin underneith is pink and grey. She still is mostly white, but I know her mama is tan, so she might turn tan too. Color isn't really an issue for me either.

I think that Jaxx won't change completely he will still be that lovely mocha color..either way, he is so handsome!

I find that even though Rocky is over 4 years old now he still slightly changes colour. He is red sable with white but I think he keeps having less and less black hair in his fur. Also I find that the white in his face gets a tiny bit more or just generally his face colour gets lighter. The white marking in his face was really defined when he was younger but now it gets more and more "blurry". Hope that makes sense.

Thanks everyone! I guess it makes sense because I have seen older chis that had no white on their face as young chis and as they got older their mask was spotted with grey. I don't know why I thought Jaxx was done changing color.

Angel is getting more white around his mouth and more tan hairs around his hind quarters. He is two years old.

I had a cockapoo (I think I put a picture of him in my album) that was white with distinct small black spots. As he got older, the black spots grew in number and got bigger! I guess they are ever changing.
