I started a thread like this a while ago as it happened to me for the first time since being a chi owner! I know it's not meant to be offensive but I don't call other people's children ugly! It just annoys me people are so narrow minded. I was walking arnie on Sunday and someone commented "oh there's not enough on him to make a bacon sandwich out of" ugh!!!!!!!!!! Xxx
We had a lot of that when we lived in Oz...bugged the life out if me. Don't get it so much here...people's opinions are a reflection of their own personality, so their problem not mine.
Last time I just replied "sshhh, he actually believes he's a Rottweiler..." Funnily enough, it worked!! Lol

I hate it when the kids call Chico "FAT"... yes, he is overweight but with all the leg surgeries, he can't do the walkie thing.... anyway, I want to tell them..........
yea, well, he may be Fat... but you're UGLY.... and the doggie can lose weight......
I have not had anyone call my pups a rats but I got a good laugh when a cute little boy looked at Lady and in all seriousness said "are you walking a cat"! It was really quite funny!
My father always refers to Pebbles as the giant rat. I just laugh and ignore it. He's not a big dog person so there's no point in saying anything or he just goes on about it

I hate it when people insult my dogs. If they call my dogs rats I usually tell them they need to get their eyes checked if the can't tell the difference between a rat and a dog/ .
I have a black pug, and I have had people ask me, "what kind of dog is that" not nicely, with a awful face.I tell them she is a baby pit bull. No one has yet called Ike anything. People are so rude, ones like them have never really had a dog they loved or been loved back by a dog, they have no idea of what love is.
