as some of may have read on my facebook got the vet callback for the double-check of Dex bloodtest for Hyperthyroidism or not...and this is what he said:

he wants me to take Dex back to the vet for another bloodtest (fresh blood is needed for a dialysis) for a specialist to look at (free of charge) the specialist wants to put all the info into his journal too. Dex is not presentin the clinical signs for cushions or hyperthyroidism...results take 24 hours as they want to make sure its a "true" elevated T4 and even wants to fly down more specialists here to NY to check it out as hyperthyroidism is NOT found in dogs less than 7 years of age. no other info is given until after the results of this fresh bloodtest sample...

wow, that is something that your Vet is talking about flying down specialists !!! i'm glad your not getting charged for this next bloodtest. i hope everything will be good for Dexter. i'll be thinking about you and him

I'm sorry Dexter has to have more tests done, but it sounds like his vet is keeping on top of things...hugs to Dexter from the girls...
