That is so sad that they regulate things like Antlers and I can't imagine getting a warning letter about something like that.
Usually when I buy the ZP antlers I buy the medium or large. Jaxx has no problem carrying them around and they last a little while longer than the small ones.
I have looked at the Yak milk treats and wondered how long it would take him to go through one. I have also thought about bully sticks but if he goes through them like he does ZP deer antlers I would go broke. I usually save ZP deer antlers for when he is hyper and I need to do school work because I know it is a guarantee that he will chew on it for a while.
He is definitely an aggressive chewer on his chews although his other deer antlers he chews on every day and I can barely tell he has touched it. Luckily he has never chewed on anything else except for his toys and chews. He went through a time period when I stopped buying him stuffies because he tore them up within a day. Now I buy them and I just tell him not to hurt the stuffy and he doesn't chew it up so bad.
We finished up a small bag of bacon bits today (we like them on our salads), so I put Chica's Petsmart antler and her Nylabone (durable type) in the bag. I'll let them "marinate" overnight, and surprise her with them in the morning. I'm definitely going to check out the ZP antlers too though. I'd love to get her one of those himalayan/yak treats, but she's such an aggressive chewer that she'd probably have it gone in no time (and they're just too pricey for a quick treat!).
