Something is going on with her stomach. Tuesday she threw up about 3-4 times. It was white mucous & she didn't want to eat. Tonight her stomach is making aweful noises. NOt hungar noises. Splatting, exploding noises. Don't know if it was the right thing to do, but I couldn't take it, so I gave her Pepto. Don't know how long or if it will help. I can't understand what's causing this stomach upset. She has been eating & drinking good. I gave some FortiFlori last night & wondering if that's what's causing all the gas. I tried to pick something up at the vet yesterday for her upset stomach & they said I could give Finnigrin if I had it, but I don't. Don't know what to do for her. Will try to see if I can get her in to the vet in the morning. Can't understand what's upsetting her stomach. She had raw beef yesterday for breakfast & lunch. Never a dull moment with this dog. Feel like bread would soak up the gas in her stomach. Wonder if I should try to feed hamburger buns. She probably wouldn't eat it tho.

What is in the air with so many of us with our chis having upset tummys. You did good with the Peto, that should help the tummy. Boil some chicken and rice, that always helps too. I would not feed raw till the tummy is settled down. Just go with a very bland diet for a few days.

You were right to give her Pepto, often times it helps.
Could it be that the raw beef didn't sit well with her?

Thanks girls. It seems the Pepto has decreased the noises. Not sure if the beef is the culprit LS. I think I'll just feed straight ZP for a while to see if that helps. Since this is been on and off for a week, I'm wondering if she might have the flu or something. One of my kids had strepp throat this week, so not only was I dealing with a sick kid, but Midgie was sick.
BTW--What the heck are you guys doing up so late? LOl

I am glad the Pepto is working. That always helped Timmy and the emergency vet always sent me home with that and a syringe. A lot cheaper to do it at home by yourself than a hefty vet bill.
I am a night owl on weekends lol.

Well, she just threw up. I think the Pepto I gave has aspirin in it. Checking now. The stomach noises are gone.

OK!! The pepto has aspirin in it. I'm getting really disgusted!! Maybe she'll be ok since she just threw up. This is driving me crazy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Makes me want to rethink about ever having another dog. So stressful.
