Jaxx used to do that until I found a food he really loved.

Now when I put out his food he gobbles it down within moments it seems like.

Too funny! Mine does that too! I always chalked it up to being one of six dogs, but maybe it is a Chi thing...

Mine do that too and I've seen other Chis do it so it might be a chi thing.

When I used to feed kibble, both of my chis done this. They would grab a few pieces & come to the living room opening where they could see me. They would empty their mouth & eat one piece at a time til gone, then get more & do it over again. So cute.

Lady is a sock monster too! Prince cracks me up, he spins the fastest circles right before he poops; he also squats low, jacks his tail up and really arches his back up. It is pretty dramatic looking event. All the fast circles still crack me up because Lady doesn't do anything like that!
