Default What's in your emergency kit?

With Bella's injury that LS told us about, this got me to thinking..what should be in our emergency kits? I'm not really sure besides the basics, but I want to be prepared incase this were to happen to Miya or any other dog for that matter. So I ask again, what is in your emergency kit?

I have all of those items scattered around our house, but I think I'm going to make a travel kit for trips. The items that I wished I would have had on hand in emergencies was hydrogen peroxide (when Odie ate a prescription pill) and canned pumpkin or yam (when she was SO sick after her spay and started losing weight). I have some canned pure yam baby food in the cupboard and an unopened bottle of hydrogen peroxide handy now!

I learned a good trick when I accidentally cut into the quick on one of Odie's nails. I just put her paw into water and then into flour and it stopped the bleeding immediately (you have to wash it off after obviously), so now I make sure I have a little container of flour just for that.

Just make sure you know that Peptobismol has aspirin in it. Make sure you follow the weight dosage. Ask your vet, and write it down for future use. I've never used it for my chi's because of that.
