Default Peed in my bed- ew

At three AM I woke up to pee in my bed. It was definitely Douglas who did it. The ferrets won't potty where they sleep and there was a lot of it.

I ended up having to scrub the matress and change all the sheets then sleep on the wrong end of my bed. I have to work today and I'm exhausted.

Brat. He went outside before we went to bed. He must have gotten the ferret water dish, which is usually hidden from him at night, and drank the whole thing until he had to pee and couldn't hold it.

Anyway, just ranting really. Annoying.

Ike has done that once so far..knock on wood.. but he went to the foot of the bed on the outside of the blanket, didn't find it till morning, I started taking his water up too. My other 2 dogs are not happy bout the water being gone at 8:30 at night but that is the breaks.

Just what you want at 3am! Max doesn't sleep with us but he did once pee on the bed, it didn't soak through the mattress but it was still a pain to have to wash the bedding and the duvet! I'm always careful of what I leave on the bed now in case he tries peeing on it!!

Aren't dogs a joy? Haha. Odie sleeps with us and we always leave her water at the end of the bed for a drink during the night and she has never peed in our bed. She did poop once though! She was sick at the time though so we forgave her, poor thing. She always whines to wake us up if she needs to go.

Toby has 24/7 access to water now. He also pees on command, LOL. So I just tell him "go pee pee on your pad so we can go night night" and he does (he goes on the pad at night). Then we go to sleep and he sleeps through the night. He did poo in the bedroom once, right near the door. But he was very ill with a stomach ache and I apparently didn't wake up. So now I put a pad in the bedroom, just in case, because I can't sleep with the door open. He's never used it.

When he was young he did pee on the bed a couple of times, when I first let him start sleeping with me. It was always first thing when he woke up and it was really my fault for not taking him out or putting him on his pad as soon as we woke up.

How old is Douglas? He may need to go out right before bed or even in the middle of the night if he is young. If he isn't fully potty trained, I would continue crate training (or using a play pen like I did) until he is trustworthy.

Charlie did that once and he never did it again. He hates it when I tell him he should be ashamed of himself nice doggies pee on the paper or puppy pad. He wasn't happy with himself.

Tiki did that a few times and then we started being really strict with no food and water after sixish ( we go to bed early and get up early) and that seemed to be late enough to keep her from peeing. My hubby wasn't to happy when he woke up and the pee was running down his legs because she went to the end of the bed and the pee traveled towards him.... Lol...
