Well Ike is my third dog, I have a mini rat terrier, she was a rescue and we have had her for 15 years now, my pug, which my daughter has the parents and gave her to us and little Ike who I picked out, so I have my limit right now I am happy with the 3. I can understand why one would want more then one Chi. I have a friend that has 3 Chi's and she loves them to death, I can see her getting a 4th.

Pam, bless you for rescuing your four dogs and for adopting seniors too!! Two of our three are from local shelters, and the other was a gift from family friends.

I have so much fun having two dogs, although one is my large dog Boss and the other is my chi pup. Boss loves having a little buddy to play with and it's so fun to see them interact! He always seemed bored/lonely before and since I've gotten Ava he's perked right up. He seems to play a big brother role with her which is too cute. I would love to have another chi to watch their antics with Boss

They are addicting...hence why I have 4 (and to start off I was more of a cat person, now I love my cat sized dogs). They are easier to take care of in multiples because they entertain each other.
