I was just wondering how your husbands/partners feel about your chi's. For years my husband was against me getting a chihuahua, he didn't like them at all and thought they were "snappy little dogs". I even joined a chi rehoming website years ago, they rang me after a long wait with the offer of a puppy that needed a home but he wouldn't let me have it. I cried for days!
It's a whole different ball game now we have Rolo. He loves him to bits. Every morning when he gets in from work he marches straight past me and goes ga-ga over him! It's so lovely to see. They are joined at the hip. Hubby even said to me yesterday , " I've never got so attached to a dog so quick as I have with Rolo". I'm so pleased!
I know us girls spend a lot of time/effort and money on our chi's and I was wondering is anyone else's husband/partner jealous?

My husband loves our chi so much its almost annoying. I don't think he is jealous when I pay attention to her, I think he is more jealous if Kalisee pays more attention to me or my daughter than to him!

Same here,it was i'm not taking it for a walk if you get one !!!!! Now it's lets go for a walk,off they trot pink collar and lead.Yes always hello to the dogs first i come 4th.They love him too bits ,if he's away they look all sad towards the front door,when he comes in it's a mad house "Zoomie time"

My husband Craig loves the dogs almost as much as I do! Chloe is his special girl, she will choose to sit with him 90% of the time and he dotes on her and calls her sweetie and pats her belly for hours. He loves the boys too but Chloe is his favorite.

My hubby was exactly the same but after a couple of weeks he got over it and it's him that walks Max most days as I'm at work. It does look funny though as he's over 6ft with size 11 feet, Max just looks extra teeny He's a great dad to Max and Max loves him loads!

My fiancé loves loves loves the chis!! He has the same attitude before we brought our first chi home, the whole it's ur dog, I'm not walking him, blah, blah, blah.... He and Gino bonded so fast, I was the jealous one! Lol

Now he's always talking about them, says he misses them when we r not home, feeds them about 80% of the time. I would say we love them equally!!
