OMG..... these 2 doggies make more messes than a 4yr old....... I count over 15 toys/chewies on my living room floor....... and what do I hear?? one of them is rummaging around in their toy box to get ANOTHER toy out.....

I feel your pain! I keep asking hubby how Jaxx accumulated so many toys for me to pick up.
There are days when Jaxx will only get out one or two toys and then of course a chewy that I give him everyday when I am around. Then there are days like today when he brings out every toy he owns and scatters them from his crate in our bedroom closet to the utility room on the other side of the apartment. He usually has a few scattered around the apartment then a huge pile in the middle of the living room floor.
He goes and gets one brings it to the middle of the floor chews on it a few minutes then go gets another one and puts it on top of the first so he can chew on both at the same time. Repeat this process until every toy he owns is on the floor.
I have tried to teach him to pick up his toys but he seems content to have a lot of toys on the floor.

I also have that happen!! Bailey will get every toy out of her toy box every day. Luckily she only has about 6 toys but then again Christmas is near.

Haha, see this is why a neat freak like me has the pups' toy box up on the
library! I take out a different 5 toys per day, because of the rotation they
don't get bored, and since the toys are limited I don't trip over them, lol.

Every couple of days though I pour out the entire toy box onto the bed and
let the pups go wild, lol.

I tried that LS! Hubby kept going into the top shelf of our closet and getting Jaxx more toys out of the box.

It seems that Jaxx has a couple toys he almost always gets out and then he changes some of the others every day too. Today for instance he has his two stuffed bears that he always gets out and then the rest of the toys he has out are all his homemade toys (shirts and socks that I have braided or knotted for him instead of throwing them away.)

There is no rhyme or reason to which toys he plays with sometimes I think it is just which ones I put on top when I put them away but other times he climbs into his toy box in order to get a toy that is on bottom.

Toby's toys are in a basket under the coffee table. He's pretty good about them though. Most of them are gathered by the sliding glass door because he likes to lay in the sun and play with them. He also plays under the coffee table. I clean them up every couple days or if I have company over.

He could put them up where I couldn't reach them but I don't think I could put them where he couldn't reach them. He is 6 foot 3 inches and I am 5 foot 4 inches.
I think that Jaxx got so many toys during the time I was rotating Jaxx's toys too. It seemed like every time we went to the pet store hubby would find Jaxx a new toy. The other day though we went and hubby decided Jaxx didn't need any more toys right now. I was so impressed!
