Default let sleeping chi's lie . . . or snorgle them?!

So your little chi is curled up in a tiny ball, maybe snuggled in a blanket, and sound asleep. You KNOW you shouldn't disturb them. But they never look cuter than this. How do you NOT pet or kiss them? What makes it worse is that, since I've been a bad daddy and woken Butterbean up a few times like that, I know her response will be to stretch adorably, shift into another equally adorable position, and fall adorably back asleep. I know I'm getting silly here, but I'm sure this must be a common temptation for everyone on this forum. How do you all deal with it?

Jaxx get woke up like this all the time! I am just unable to resist giving him cuddles when he looks so cute like that.
He has gotten used to me waking him up though and just gives me a look like "really I was sleeping" and then finds his comfy spot and goes back to sleep.

I don't resist, I just kiss away! I just make sure I don't move her if she doesn't know what's going on, because she's grumpy when she first wakes up. Little princess.

I stop myself, and just stare at Ike sleeping like an angel, because once he wakes up, I do nothing else but follow him around, as he zips through the house like a ball of lighting. I have to make sure he doesn't get to close to our older dog, that he is not biting ,again, on a electric cord, or not shredding his pee pads and the list goes on for a couple of hours, so when he is resting, I dare my husband or the other 2 dogs to wake him up.

Why resist? Zara lets out the most adorable whimpering noises as a protest to being disrupted then yawns and shifts position. Tricky part is to give enough time between disruptions so as not to wake her fully

Still learning that one

I hate to tell you this, but Lulu will be 5 years old in January, and this happens on a daily basis at our house. Lulu is used to it. She just stretches, curls up and goes back to sleep.

Toby likes getting woken by kisses. Sometimes he will lick me, then go back to sleep. Other times he just shifts and goes back to sleep. Sometimes he doesn't even wake up. He's very used to affection from his mama.
