Now I'm positive that we all had the stomach bug. It has flu like symptoms. Just heard on the news they're closing schools in Nashville (about an hour away) due to so many cases. We're still not out of the woods. My hubby & my one twin has a small case of it. I keep running around the house behind them spraying lysol & disinfecting like crazy trying to keep the rest of us from getting it again. UGH The joys of winter & all the fun illnesses that go with it!! I'm so ready for summer again. I'd so rather deal with the heat & bugs than seeing any of my babies sick.
When I heard it was in a different part of TN, I was shocked. I knew this stuff was contagious, but not to the degree that's it's spreading like wild fire. You know it's serious when our chi babies can catch it too. I have to keep telling my girls not to kiss on Midgie for fear she'll get it again.
If anyone feels their stomach start acting weird, gurgling, hurting, diarrhea--don't wait for it to pass because it'll only get worse. Start taking ant acids like Pepto. It's one of those things that just has to run it's course, but it takes forever. I suffered for about 3 weeks.
Does include vomiting? My daughter did that on Sunday all day, fever just on Monday and then yesterday and today diarrhea.
It sure can. It did with my chi, but I didn't vomit but felt like I could. Loss of appetite, nausea, stomach ache, very gassy, bloat, diarrhea, very thirsty.
