I'm glad I asked for samples because Star doesn't like any of it!!!

I got 2 deer shanks, 2 antlers, and a little sample of lamb food.

Gave her the deer antler first and didnt like it. Then today I put some coconut oil on it and maybe less than 30 seconds til no more coconut, she stopped chewing.

Today I also opened a shank package and she sniffed walked away.

Not too fond of the lamb food either. She's just slowly munching on it unlike the venison. Strange that she loves raw lamb tho.

Right now I'm letting the odors of zp soak in the antler and shank to see if she likes it better.

Any other ways to make her like and chew the shank and antler?

Aw Angie that stinks that she didn't go for everything right away. FWIW mine never liked antlers; don't know why, seems to be a hit or miss with most dogs. You could try soaking them in some broth, or rubbing peanut butter on them and freezing them?

All chis are so different in their taste buds,o.o dex loves the deer,antler but prefers them small instead of the huge elk one I got him. KC recently was chewin on the elk one but it didn't last too long so I think I'll have to get the smaller one,from best bullysticks soon they do love their bullychews though haha. Dex hated lamb treats of any kind and also hated ziwipeak. Just bought a container of freeze dried chicken liver treats last night but haven't tried it yet

I think I'm going to try the broth on the antler if she dont like it after putting it in zp. Good news is that she's tearing the deer shank skin as I'm tying this up after I put it in the zp. I never seen her work on it this long with a bully stick and she actually is staying on the crochet mat I made for her (just for chewing things) chewing the shank...lol!
Hmm....picky dex! lol I thought Star would like this antler cuz it's cut in half instead of having the end of an antler since she like bone marrows.
