it's so sad to think things like these happen. I remember some years ago I read that they found baby cats (just born) inside a close PLASTIC bag in the middle of a very busy street. Luckily they found them and could assist them but one was dead already

Sadly things like this happen every day all over the world and much worse. Being within the rescue world I hear and see stories there tear me all to pieces. This has become and evil, evil world...

The bitterness of poor quality lingers long after the sweetness of a low price is forgotten....

Just today at the dog park, someone was telling me he took his beautiful, sweetheart of a lab away from a neighbor who was mistreating it, because he just couldn't stand to see that happen any longer. He said she's the best thing that ever happened to him, too. It's amazing to me how some people can be so closed off from what their own pets could be for them, if only cared for properly.

I saw this on the local news the other day... I can't believe people like this exist. :/
