Thank goodness she was picked up by people who took care of her until she went to the shelter. I just hope it's a no-kill shelter. What an angel. I hope someone adopts her who will treat her wonderfully for the rest of her little life.

That is really upsetting. I saw a little chi that had been hit by a car on the side of the road yesterday. It was a tiny little thing and I just cannot imagine how it got onto such a busy road. I am still sad about it.
This is why I like dogs better than many humans. Dogs and dog people have hearts- dogs teach compassion and loyalty. This person obviously didn't have either.
The really sad part is that she seems so sweet, someone must have loved her and treated her well at some point. How in the world could they set her out with the garbage?!
Unfortunately, this is not unusual in Lake County. I used to go antiquing in Mount Dora and there are a lot of this type of incidents in the papers, etc.
