Pretty girl in my lap

She is 8.50 lbs, so I think that she is overweight a bit. Any suggestions on how to help her lose weight besides exercise? I don't think she was exercised at all before I got her. Thanks!

We are getting along great over here! Crackers wants to play, Tia wants to cuddle so we're compromising by Tia laying down with husband and Crackers running around with the boys. I've also treated them both for fleas and gave Tia Heartguard for heart worm prevention meds.

What a pretty girl! Congrats!
For weight loss:
Exercise is number one. Number two is food. Whatever she was eating in her previous home/rescue probably isn't anything great. So getting her a good diet will help. What do you feed Crackers? Don't give her any treats- if you really want to, give raw green beans. They will fill her up without the calories. Hopefully she will lose the weight in no time!

Again, congrats- she really is a pretty girl. How does Crackers like her? Make sure you post copies of the family pics

Thanks! We're a switching to TOTW, I was going to do Ziwi, but that's not possible until sometime in Jan/Feb if I go to that at all right now. I picked up a bag of the Pacific Stream TOTW, as she has a rough coat and Crackers has his shedding issues. I am planning on taking her on a walk in a few minutes then taking him, but I might just take them both to the park and walk them while my kids play.

OH and the pics got canceled, the photographer got sick so we had to reschedule.
