From everything I've heard about those grass patches, they are awful to clean. I just use disposable pads with Gemma. She caught on with how to use them instantly. I love them and I am proud to say that with just a little correcting in the beginning, she does not confuse our rugs for potty pads. She did at first, but I just had to catch her in the act a couple of times to teach her that it was not okay. Now she only uses her pads while inside! She potties outside too when we are on walks.
