Aww! When I was looking for Tiki we checked the shelters and they didn't have any chihuahuas. Then a week later one of the shelters got in twenty of them! It was on the news and they were adopted super quickly! It is really hard to get chihuahuas in Maine. Unless you spend a lot of money.
I had actually been linked this article from somewhere else too! I think it is great. The fact that LA and Las Vegas are putting down hundreds of chis every month and in the northeast US people are on years long waiting lists for rescue chis is just wrong. So nice to see people helping the problem.
