I've noticed that if I'm looking at Stella when she's looking at me, and I smile (closed lipped) sometimes she seems to smile back at me.

I can't get a pic right now, because stupid me ran my phone through the washing machine. But has anyone else seen this? Or perhaps I'm just losing my mind

Yes! Chanel gets a big smile on her face when hubby comes home. And if he
says "What are you doing? Are you smiling? Smiling for papa?" then she smiles
even bigger, it is hilarious. I haven't been able to catch it on camera, maybe I'll
try filming it one day. It's an obvious smile, very very funny.

It's so different to me! I think it's adorable. She just kinda turns up the corners of her mouth back at me.


To explain what I mean when I say it's "different" --
Max (lab/irish setter mix) gives big smiles when he's super happy. I remember the 2nd time I met him (he's my bf's dog) he met me at the end of the sidewalk, and he stood there with his teeth bared, shifting his weight back and forth. I froze, thinking "oh god, he doesn't remember me, what do I do, what do I do?!" Then bf came out and was like "aww look, he's happy to see you!" Here he was so excited he was doing a smiley happy dance! I've only seen it a few times since then, which melts my heart every time I think about it now -- knowing that he was that excited to see me!

I always say that little Prince has a "perma-grin". The way he has a very small line lf black fur around his mouth makes him look like he is always smiling. I always say to him "Are you smilin'" .

Muffin smiles all the time, i have also been working with her on lifting those top lips to create the smile much better another month of teaching her to do it with treats as a reward i hope she gets it down pat. LOL!! But heres her little smile that she always has if i would have had the cam lower you would have been able to see those little tiny top teeth alittle bit. LOL!!

And this is her trying to smile and also pretending to be a mouse. LOL!!
