I get a lot of little shirts and dog clothing from eBay, the stuff from China is always super cheap, it may take about a month to get to you BUT it's way cheaper then the stores. Pet stores by me are around $20/shirt if not more. Online I can get 4-5 shirts for that price. They are the same quality, just have to make sure to look at the size charts. I love shopping for dog clothes!
Besides the other great suggestions folks have given, I do find that if you check local Petsmarts and Petcos, you can find a good amount of clothing on clearance, some that have been dropped down to half or a quarter of their usual price.
We check petco quite often but in our area it seems like everything is really expensive. I also have terrible luck finding anything for boys. When I do though I usually get it.
