Thanks everyone so much for the support it helps me so much! Just got home from the hour drive, dropped her off at 8:30 and am supposed to be picking her up at 3PM. Making a nice comfy area for her to come home to now. I'm so nervous guys, I keep thinking of things that can go wrong and the thought that she's going under anesthesia. Aaahhh I need to calm down I know she'll be fine but I just love her so so much and don't want her to feel any pain! I know spaying is an important thing to do though and she's getting microchipped and put on heartworm prevention as well.

Good luck Ava and Winnie...Winnie's Mom should start a seperate thread for her so we can check on her too! I am nervous when ever they are put under..eek.

I always get nervous when I take a dog to the vet unless it's a well visit.

I was fortunate with Angel. He did not bother his surgery site, did not cry, and was up an about 2 days later! His surgery was like a spay, he had to have to incisions because one testicle didn't descend.

An hour away from the vet - no wonder you're nervous! My vet is only 10 minutes away! I swear, hubby was holding back tears when Angel had his neuter!!

Try to relax, so that she will too!
