We got a new chi. My mom gave her to me. She is twelve weeks old and a little angel. I am not at home but when i get back i will take pics and post them. Mom calls her tinky winky but i am going to change it to Zoe i think though i haven't made my mind up for sure what i will call her i still am researching it
Unfortunately i think the breeder was mean to her because she acts like she was abused. Mom got her straight from the breeder so it has to be them that was.
She is worse with women. If we approach her she'll cower and will act like she is scared to death. Mom had her out of it uintil my SIL (her cousin was the breeder) and my brother came over. Right after she was back to being that way agian. It has beena few days and she is just starting to get over it though slowly. When i get her home i am sure she'll be fine

I hope things get better for her

Maybe she is just reserved. My dog is very shy....always he has been like that. He was the only one of his litter that was this way and he was not abused or mistreated. Your pup has just changed homes and left her littermates, her mum , the breeder, etc. She probably needs a little time to get aclimated

She has been with mom for six weeks and was like that for a few weeks and finally got better until my brother and his.wife came over and she started it again when she smelled the wife. She was fine with me even though we just met. She is back to almost normal again. I've had an abused chi before and he acted exactly the same way.

Aw poor baby. When she is home with you she will be fine. Can't wait to see pictures of her!

She may not have been abused. Bell gets timid with certain new people, not all, but some. She cowers and tries to hide. I know that she has never been abused. We've been working on socializing her with lots of new people, and its started to get better. It could be that she's just shy and needs more socialization.

I don't know. I hope she wasn't but her behavior says otherwise. I've spoken with a trainer and we're working on it
