Holistic vet says she's allergic to chicken. She can't be hungry. I've upped her food to 3 small meals a day because she was looking thin to me. I think it's the kibble & ZP. We'll see how she is after the appointment.

Is she eating with a sore mouth? If she can't have chicken you can do beef broth

Yep, she loves to eat. The kibble is her least favorite. She gobbles up raw meat & ZP. I know her mouth hurts because she won't chew the t-bone on her own unless I hold it for her which could be she's really spoiled too. Lol

UPDATE***Well, now I know why she threw up on the couch the other day. She had just eaten some Limited Ingrediant Lamb kibble. Holistic vet said she's allergic to lamb! UGh. He didn't feel her back teeth were bad, but he felt they did need to be cleaned so it didn't lead to problems. She's really groggy. As soon as we got home, she ate some kibble. They trimmed her nails. He prescribed some Clindymiacin (sp?) & gave me a probiotic for her. I haven't given her the antibiotic yet. I figure I'll wait until the morning to give it with her breakfast as she's so groggy now, I don't want to give her anything to upset her stomach. I don't think he used anesthesia because he didn't feel it necessary to draw blood as it was only a partial dental. He sedated her. When she walks, she looks like she's drunk. She'll sleep good tonight.

Good thing you figured it out!! It's so frustrating when these little guys don't feel good! Just a heads up, don't give the probiotic and the antibiotic together, separate them by a few hours.

No, it's bc one is an antibiotic that wipes out good (normal flora) and bad bacteria and the probiotic restores the good bacteria that helps keep bad bacteria out. So if you give them together, the antibiotic would wipe the probiotic out and make it useless. How often is the clindamycin being given? 3 times a day? I know probiotics are once a day.
