So, my mom and my sister are moving to North Carolina next week! They signed a lease in the same apartment complex as me (the reason for this is that my sister doesn't drive but needs to be able to get to and from my apartment when she wants). My mom got a job at a mental health inpatient facility, doing what she loves- psychiatric nursing. My dad is staying in Florida for a while until he gets a job up here and sells the house, then he will be joining them.
I am so excited about this! We are a close family, so I am happy that they will be close by (although they are NOT going to get a key- boundaries! LOL). And when I have school all day, such as on Mondays, Toby can just go to Auntie Chelle day care, unless she has something going on or class. And if I have to travel, Toby can stay with them. And he can go over there whenever or Rocky can come over here to play- so I won't have to feel so guilty about him being an only child. And my Mommy can cook for me sometimes, so I can eat real food!
Originally, they were going to leave Lilly in Florida with my grandmother because she is "too old to travel." Needless to say, I gave my mom the "dogs are NOT disposable" speech and said she is perfectly capable of limping along for 800 miles in a car and never having to travel again once she gets here. She made the trip last March and was fine. My mom agreed, not realizing how much my sister and I were upset about it. So, in 5 days Toby will have his old cousin Lilly to torture and cousin Rocky to play with, LOL.
Once we set boundaries and limits, and as long as they let me have my own life, which they are pretty good at, I think we will all be happy! Look for LOTS of pictures with the three babies playing together
