Thankfully you were not hurt. I know I always think I should not allow Lola on my lap when I drive. I guess we never think that at any moment we could get in an accident. Looking at car seats will be on the top of my list today.

Omg Jayda! I'm so sorry you had to go through that and it happened to you! You just never know with deer, they pop up out of no where! I'm like you, a throw them into their seat but don't always strap them in! I will now. Do you have a lot of damage to your new car? Did you get rid of the convertible?
I'm glad your ok! Kisses to your babies!! Xox

Yep, sold the BMW roadster. I loved it but it was 335 HP which I didn't need and guzzled gas. I entered an Eco-conscious era and got a Lexus hybrid.....now with a damaged front end. Damaged a head light, the bumper and the grill. Not happy but if I damaged my new car, a deer and my fur kids I would have been beside myself. After the incident one of my first thoughts was how little Prince would have just sailed into the dash or front window. The force of the braking would have made the pups projectiles for sure.

Thank god they were not in the car! And a car is just a car, always either fixable or replaceable. Still stinks since you just got it!

Congrats on the new car! How do you like it? I am thinking of getting rid of my convertible next year and getting a sedan, something like the new 5 series or a Lexus gs. Bryan works for Toyota and he says that a Lexus will last me forever!!

Very happy with my Lexus so far. I have had several BMWs and while super fun the maintenance costs were huge, one tire on my Z4 was $475! Trying something different with a hybrid but 45 MPG can't be beat. Practical and reliable is what I am after with the Lexus. Hopefully it can get fixed up good as new.

Glad you are enjoying it! Thanks for the info! 45 mpg is beautiful! I need new rear tires on my Infiniti and the dealer wants $900 for both so I hear ya!!
Hope you get it back in perfect condition soon!
