When ever there's a recall of a specific product in a certain brand, please be wary. Just because yours isn't the product being recalled doesn't mean that it's not affected. It may have not been caught yet. There should never be recalls for dog food!! What this tells me is they're not doing quality control & monitoring the production of dog food. It's only recalled when so many people report sick, dead dogs from eating the crap!! I don't want to scare anyone---nevermind!! YES, I DO!! Recalls are serious business & when a dog food company has a recall, they loose all my respect & most of all TRUST!!!! I don't do business with that company any more!!! I don't like playing Russian Roulette with my babies life!!!

I received this alert as well & I do feed the small breed food but not the bag size that was recalled but it didnt make me feel any better about it. I am currenly switching the chis to something else I just dont trust Wellness anymore this isnt the first recall they have had this month.

Thank you for posting this! I feed mine wellness small breed for puppies, I don't particuarly care for wellness but I got her about a month and a half ago and my pet store that I get my big dogs food from was closed that evening, so I had to get a decent food from petsmart. Currently switching her to Fromm puppy which has never had a recall . Thanks again!
