I was just given access to this forum. Our first litter is now 9 weeks old and one has already gone to her new home. Our little Angelo will be with us soon. My mom will still have 2 with her for a bit.

My daughter wants to train Angelo so she can eventually show him and I would like to use him as a stud when he gets older. I know that you can't see his lines because of the coat but here is a picture (hopefully) anyway.

I honestly can't tell. He's so young and the coat hides so much. Do you have pictures of his parents? We might be able to get an idea from them. I noticed on his dogster page you're in Tulsa, they have a great training club that your daughter might want to look into, to train your dogs and you to show. Does he have champions in his pedigree? Not that that is any guarantee but it is a good start.

Here are the parents Dogster pages and a picture of the parents together. I will either ask my mom to get parentage from the breeder or I will contact her myself. They were purchased from CCC Chihuahuas.

I have checked with the breeder and there are champions on the father's side but she doesn't think that there are any on the mom's side.

Here is a list of Diego's champion lines:

Dam: Boomer Sweet Taco

Champion Lines: Lavon's-Nans-Mi Vidas

Sire: Mr Prancer Dancer

Champion Lines: Mid-Ok's-Mar Rich's-Lavons-Knights-Hallmans-H&J-Pittores-Quachitah

I will of course research with the AKC to get a family tree for him...I may find a champion on Frida's side too.

Is it me or do Mufasa's ears not stand right

...... can a dog with such a fould be approved for breeding?

I do however like Mystic Charm. Looks very nice proportioned from what I can see. Lovely head and over all expression. Same goes for Treasured Allie.

The picture of Mufasa looks like a young pic to me but I'm not sure on that.

I also don't recall having ever seen a litter between Boomer's Sweet Taco and Buffy Puffy.....Taco is no longer breeding now though she is retired.

His ears can go down if teething you can tape them up at that time but it must be done properly. he is a cutie. If you want to know his pedigree. if you registered him you can go to AKC.org and get a 5 generation Pedigree and have it downloaded on line for much less than mailing for it. I have done that and just printed it out. Good luck with him.
