I volunteer with a group called Unchain Cumberland County. We are going to have a fundraiser and are looking for items to raffle off or sell to raise the money.

The money is used to build fences for dogs that live life on a chain so they can feel the freedom and have room to run.

We also require that the dogs be spayed/neutered if they receive a fence, and help to cover the cost of that as well.

We also take in needy dogs, get them vetted and find permanent homes.

The founder of Unchain Cumberland County and I are also on a mission to change breeding policies with enforecable laws to decrease the number of dogs and cats being dumped in our shelters.
