Has anybody made - or attempted to make - a NASCAR-style firesuit for their dog? I was going to use a jammies pattern and add embellishments, but if somebody else has already done something like this and has any guidance, I sure would appreciate it. Still winter here in WI, so the sewing machine is busy!

My husband races (NHRA though, not NASCAR) and he thinks that our girls really like rides in one of his race cars. They do not. They do not like loud noises.
I will not show him this post nor pictures if you post them because FOR CERTAIN he will want the girls to have fire suits!! haha!!
I just bought two cheap tees at Goodwill in NAPA blue and yellow; they should serve well for the base garment. Now to get a double-nickel decal and teach Pablo to say "Goooo Mikey!" in time for the Coke 600 LOL! I agree, though - a race car is no place for a dog - too loud and too dangerous!
