Default I'm in Heaven!

I was just telling my mom I wanted to make a new bed for my chi's. And I happen upon this forum, ... I love to sew/crochet/craft... there can't be anything better than finding other people who love chi's and making cute things for them! I have a feeling I'll be in the craft store buying supplies after reading through some of these threads!
Are there any fav patterns out there?

I make my own patterns because Venus and my Yorkie, Sparrow, are too small for a lot of pre-made patterns. I love sewing and crafting. I'm going to try and crochet something for them, but I'm so reluctant to do anything by hand. Sewing is so fast and easy that I'm spoiled at how quickly I can get a finished product.

That is really true. Although I LOVE to crochet and my girls are so small it'd probably take about an hour to crochet a cute sweater for them.
I want to try my hand at doing harnesses, but am scared my needle on my machine wouldn't be able to handle the material lol

Get fresh jeans needles and good jeans thread. You can lengthen your stitch a little bit too and that should help. I've never had a problem, and I've made leashes and other thick things. If your machine is in good order and your needles and thread are new and a good match for whatever you're sewing it should be fine.

Where do you get the material for the leashes? Do you order online or buy in store? Thanks for the tips! !
