I am asking all of you creative people what kind of meet ups you are having? For instance, are you just getting together for an hour of visiting, or are you really planning and bringing in activites or guest speakers? I have done both so far. I am the only person planning and it gets kinda hard when you ask others for suggestions and no one has any ideas. So, I come to you!!! So far this year, we had a xmas party with Santa. We had a dog trainer, and a person who sells a line of pet products. I have lined up for a future meet up to have a local vet come and speak about our chis. Also, next month we are having a "Doggy Day Spa". Everyone is going to have the opportunity to give their chi a bath, get a massage, and to get dolled up with nail polish and maybe some pretty bows. Also, this summer we are going to have a BBQ/swim party and have a bathing suit contest with the Chi's. Anyway, I would love to hear what you guys are doing and if you could share your ideas. Thanks!!!!

Your meetups sound like so much fun!!! I'd love to do a Doggy Spa Day and fun activites like that. Our meetup is fun but theres no activies whatsoever. We just sit around and talk and laugh at our chihuahuas playing together. I think you have very neat and great plans. I'd totally come to one of those. I think if you planned something like that, and charged like a very small fee like $5.00-$10.00 to possibly help you out, I wouldn't mind it either.

The meet ups are fun, but I am always open to more ideas. It takes a little planning, but that's just my personality. However, I am going to organize a planning committe to take some of the work off me. Soon, I will hand the group over to someone else who loves to plan and organize things. I would love to hear what others are doing.
