I am in the Ft. Lauderdale area.. south FL. I know we have quite a few central FL members but I'm not sure if there are many by me..

I really would like to get something set up where we can all get together with our chis...

Please any one interested needs to state where they are located and how far you will be willing to drive to meet up. Don't want one person going 2 minutes from home and someone else having to drive 2 hours from home. I would like to try to get something kind of central for everyone. Does anyone local know of a pet friendly park. We will have one about 20 minutes from me but it has not been completed yet

We could do a covered dish thing and may an afternoon of it...we need to do it soon before it gets to hot. Let me know if anyone is interested and I will start to do some searching around.

I live in Clearwater, and I would be interested, but my only problem is that it would have to be on a Sunday for me because my husband works Monday thru Saturday and only has Sunday off. And the problem of only having one car, which he uses. The places I know of around me may be too far for you......Honeymoon Island allows dogs in one area. It's north of us and the town of Dunedin. My husband knows the area where you live, so we could find it if you had a get-together up that way. Hopefully Pedro's foot will be healed by the time you have it. He's still wearing that e-collar! Good luck in planning it. I hope we can come!
