I don't know anyone around here with Chihuahuas, but I'd love to be part of a meetup and Josie really needs to brush up on her socialization skills! I checked the meetup.com page too and there's nothing there. I wouldn't mind organizing it myself, except that I'm not altogether sure how good I'd be at it or what to do.

Anyone else here from Ky or close enough to attend that would want to?

What's Kentucky?? Is that some sort of state or something?

I know we had at least one member in KY, Teresa Ann. She hasn't been around lately because she was pregnant and having a lot of problems with her b/f. If and when she ever comes back (and I hope she will) she might be able to do a meetup with you.

Pikeville is quite on the border of Nowhere, I know. We have no mall, no Pet Co., PetsMart, 7-Eleven...it's sad, really. But we've got this awesome Wal-Mart Supercenter and a Big K-Mart, so I guess that makes up for it (yeah, right!). It's pretty here, all the mountains and stuff.

Brandon's been to TX several times, Galveston I believe. He says it's one of the most beautiful places he's ever been to. So what part of KY have you been to? Just curious.

We lived in Georgetown KY for a bit when I was a kid. I think we were there about 6 months. I've lived in three Georgetowns in my life... KY, Wa. DC and TX.

I've also driven through KY on my way to NY a few times and detoured through there on my way from TX to DC once. I think eastern Tennessee and Kentucky are both just the most beautiful places on earth. But I'm a mountain girl at heart. I'll take mountains and snow over beaches and sunlight any day.
