They really are. Green's story started out a sad one. He was a puppy mill puppy who ended up at a rescue. When he came home he was afraid of everything and would not leave the corner. I had to hand feed him and carry him outside. He has come a very long way. Barney came home this summer and I was not sure if it would work out. I don't believe in rehoming (except for extenuating circumstances) so I was hesitant to make the commitment. Bu we did and it has been great. Bless Barney's little heart he has confidence to spare and he has helped Green come out of his shell a little more. I am not always sure Barney knows how small he is. Sometimes I think he believes he is going to grow up to be a border collie.
