So I'm still convinced that she's got a little pom in her. She gets fluffier every day. I got a picture of her from the back so you can really see her coat. She'll be 5 months on the 21st, about 2 1/2 lbs. She still un-potty trained herself, but we're working on it.
Getting fixed the Friday after Black Friday, so I'm nervous =/... She's just so tiny.

i dont think she does, there are some reallllly fluffy purebreed long hair chihuahuas out there,

i have a pom/chi (the big chocolate and white one in my sig) and his fur was just alot different at that age

Yeah, sorry to break it to ya but I think you've got a purebred chi there! Lol. She's precious. Try not to worry about the spay, she'll be okay and it is definitely the best thing for her.

I think I just still find it hard to believe that we got a purebred at a shelter. But after seeing those other pictures they can indeed get fluffy. Our vet is awesome, all of my pets have come to me fixed I've never had to send one to have surgery so I'll be panicking until it's OVER!!

She's such a little cutie! Jem's coat is pretty fluffy and wavy and she's a purebred. Of course she'll only be 16 weeks this Sunday so it's mostly her puppy coat. I have a feeling she'll still be fluffy as an adult though.
