Thanks everyone!! They are chubby and healthy now, praying no double merles but we will wait and see. We knew it was a possibility that she was pregnant when we got her as she was living outside with other dogs; and honestly I am glad they didn't know at the time or they would've likely kept her even longer. She's notorious for trying to sell pregnant or expecting dogs which is why I thank the heavens I never put a dollar in that %(*$('s pocket let alone saw her face to face. Excuse my implied language.
To the best of my knowledge the "breeder" no longer has any dogs advertised, and I'm praying that means it's the last anyone sees of her. None of her sites have been updated in quite some time, either; and as Eden was relinquished with a few other dogs too at the time I'm hoping it means she's out of the "business". I can do my part to ensure they end up well-loved and in forever homes and am hoping to place the babies with people I know as I don't even want to use the "M" word on any ads.
FWIW, if any of my Chihuahua People friends would like to adopt one, I would not ask an adoption fee but just a donation to my local Humane Society. Just keep in mind that there WILL be an expense for neutering once old enough. I do the "whole 9 yards" when adopting out a dog to make sure new owners are fully prepared and each pup will be sent with the same Care Kit I send with any fosters. =) C'mon, don't any of my faraway friends want a fuzzy little long coat boy?!
